Vidya Pratishthan’s
Arts, Science and Commerce College (VPASCC)
Vidya Pratishthan’s Arts, Science and Commerce College (VPASCC) was established in June 1994 with the premier aim of imparting quality education to deserving rural students. It is situated at Vidyanagari, a picturesque educational campus sprawling 156 acres of land, 5 km away from Baramati in Pune District. Once a desolate outback of Baramati, it has transformed into a thriving educational institution of international repute. The college, which started with a meager strength of 150 students, now nurtures the ambitions of more than 4500 students. The college provides higher secondary and graduate level education in three faculties, Arts, Science and Commerce coupled with post-graduate courses in Computer Science and Biotechnology and is permanently affiliated to the University of Pune and is registered under 2(f) and 12 (b) of the UGC Act (1956). The college belongs to the co-education category and is visibly “in pursuit of academic excellence through team spirit”, as enunciated in its motto. Its mission is rural development through quality education, character building, value-based education complemented by world-class infrastructure and bridging the gap between classroom teaching and research. At VPASCC, the real focus is on rural students whose potential is often wasted by the lack of good opportunities and exposure.
